   Overall this was a good experience. The service was exceptional and the mains and fried green tomatoes were excellent .. but the collard greens and slaw were average. The hotel bathrooms had cabinet doors falling off and overall looked run down.

   Service is always great at Ritz Sarasota. Food & drinks are consistent. Love sitting outside. Inside can get quite loud in the evening.

   Per another review we also didn’t like the placemats. I think the restaurant could replace them with white table clothes. Our server was not engaged at all in our dining experience, he was slow careless and non chalant. We are a chalant family and we were hoping for more energy. However, The food was fabulous, the oysters were the best that we’ve had in ages.

    We had a lovely lunch as always. Our server I believe his name is John is the person we have usually and he does an excellent job. Very efficient and attentive. The hostess was marvelous and also very upbeat and helpful in getting us to the right table that we requested. It was a very pleasant wonderful experience. On a separate note we would also like to thank you for removing the fee for parking. We always tip generously and we’re surprised on this visit to hear that you removed the fee. Thank you.
