Restaurants in Alsace traditionally have a formal main dining room as well as a casual dining room known locally as a weinstube or brasserie. At the brasserie, diners may enjoy traditional, hearty Alsatian dishes in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. These friendly establishments are immensely popular with Alsatians and visiting them is always the best part of my trips back to Alsace. I opened Jacques' Brasserie at L'Auberge Chez François to bring the tastes and comforts of the Alsatian brasserie to Great Falls.

    Some very nice cocktails and wine. Servers attentive and pleasant. Food generally bland, and not in the let ingredients shine kind of way. Few grains of salt could have gone ling way, except for onion soup which was "salt bomb." Chewy lobster. Bread best part of meal. Very well done.

    Another great meal at the Brasserie! Our favorite place to dine in all of Northern Virginia! Everything on the menu is delicious and the service is wonderful, so we can pick just about anything and be satisfied from the aperitif to dessert, which is almost always souffle. Thanks for your wonderful restaurant!

    The Brasserie is always a nice ambience with excellent service. Danny and his team are the best in the business- everyone is so friendly and professional! Best restaurant in Northern Virginia!
