   Calvin was the waiter. Food was excellent as usual. The service was excellent as usual. Calvin went beyond the call of duty as usual. My business colleague was very impressed with the entire meal. Best restaurant In Detroit.

   Great food and service was fast. The wait staff was friendly and even remembered to celebrate the special occasion with a nice slice of coconut cake.

   The best seafood dinner we have ever had. We came here on the recommendation of a woman we met from Brooklyn NYC who flew into Detroit just to go to Joe Muer for her birthday dinner. Now I see why. 5/5 stars

   For the price it was certainly not worth 3 or 4 stars. Food was ok, service was ok. Not what you would expect for a restaurant in the price level.

   Never had a bad experience here. We got married here in 2019 and have been back every year on our anniversary, except for one COVID year. The food is delicious and well thought out. Service was excellent, even our waters never got empty. I really wish I could recall our server's name because she was phenomenal. Yup. We'll be back next year.
