                                                  The restaurant did not have our reservations. Do not know if that was the fault of oen table or the restaurant but it caused a lot of problems

                                                  It was a bit hard to find the entrance to this place (we had never been there and there were multiple buildings set close together), but when we got there the staff was welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious. We had a Boursin/goat cheese plate for an appetizer, and salmon for dinner - everything came out perfect! The drinks were great, the coffee was exceptional, and for Valentine’s Day we were given complementary chocolate covered strawberries. Denise is a wonderful server. We will be back!

                                                  We love the Joseph Ambler Inn!!! Always great food, servers are great, attentive but not hovering! Had the Chilean Sea Bas it was AWESOME!! Highly recommend you treat yourself to dinner at the Joseph Ambler Inn.

                                                  The facility is lackluster and waitress was inattentive and disappeared for long periods of time (we had to wait a long time to get the bill). The chefs skills were evident in cooking and flavoring of veal (polenta side was excellent), short ribs and mussels (Andouille sausage broth excellent). The scallops (only 5 small) were overcooked and risotto was clumpy. Two of the 3 cheeses on the board were excellent and the meat addition was quite good. White sangria was disappointing as the grapefruit overpowered the preferable raspberry and peach flavors. The orange chocolate torte was quite good (perfect flavor balance). The apple butter cake had great potential (except for heavy nutmeg flavor) but should have been served warm with vanilla ice cream.
