Their happy hour is my favorite excuse to not cook dinner during the week. The Condesa margarita has to be my favorite cocktail in all of Austin, and my favorite weekday happy hour treat! The service here is always top notch, and the ingredients are always fresh!

Their service was bit on slower side took long time to attend at our table, food was good but not extraordinary compared to the price. The two things I really liked was huarache de huitlacoche and the Tres de Leches cake.

GO! La Condesa is a bit hard to find without major signage (though at the corner) but DEFINITELY worth circling the block for a parking space! Every section of the menu has multiple, unique, delicious, options with layers and layers of flavors and beautiful presentations. Upscale versions of Mexican inspired dishes were a treat. If I lived in Austin, I’d go weekly for the chicken with reduction sauce made from butternut squash, lemon, cilantro and much more.

Completely overrated. As someone who has eaten all over Austin at every price point, this is overpriced dog food. Service is slow and forgetful, at best. Do yourself a favor and hit up ATX Cocina’s new brunch and get quality food and service.

Great experience. Food was amazing, authentic. Corn tortillas were homemade, service was great. Good selection of mezcal drinks.

I am a vivid restaurant goer and I was very excited to go and experience La Condesa especially seeing that the restaurant was on the Michelin Star nominee list. We went last night. First impression: exciting. Second impression: hmmm.....the booth hardly fit my legs and the server spoke too fast. We all had to listen with a lot of intention because she mixed spanish with english. After her explanation of the menu, we had questions which she answered but also kind of laughed about. Especially the family style part, which after receiving the orders were not at all family style. 3 tacos for 2 people? should be offered 2 or 4, so no discussions on the 3rd. 1 Quesadilla? how do you split that with not making a mess. My appetizers got turned vegan and she snickered when i said no cheese or mayo on the corn, which made her say: well there will be only corn, which makes a vegan's heart sing but she did not understand that. the Food was great, dont get me wrong, but the lights were way to dim to actually see and appreciate the food / creation. The music was authentic but too loud. we all had to lean in to talk and i observed others had to do the same. after our meal our plates and napkins got cleared which left us without napkins for our dessert. But i want to point out one awkward moment: 2 servers showed up with 2 dishes at our table. they put it down, explained to us what it was and then we realized, this is not our order. too fast the dishes got lifted up and gave us all a pause..at Loro's korean smokehouse is a rule as soon as it is on the table, it stays there. Restaurants' fault. so that was odd. so overall i think you should experience la condesa even though i will not go back. in today's time i expect at least one fresh menu item to order, a salad or guac with crudités...but when i inquired about the guac with fresh veg the server looked at me and said: oh no...we dont offer that. so for me its not even a recommendation for folks coming to visit us....

Great spot for high end mex food. Polite staff. Sensitive to gluten allergy. Very very good over all.

Food was delicious, but in general, service was lacking. We checked in at the host stand early for our reservation and grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting. Host never came to seat us, checked back in and was provided a table. Server at the table was not attentive and clearly busy/stressed. Overall a lack luster experience for a restaurant with recent Michelin accolades.
