   We were excited for a great atmosphere and exceptional service during our visit. Feeling adventurous, we hoped our server could guide us with some recommendations, but unfortunately, the suggestions felt a bit lacking with a simple “you can’t go wrong with anything,” leaving us to make our own choices. That said, we truly enjoyed the dishes we selected! The sampler was fantastic, the filet a la parrilla was cooked to perfection, and while the ceviche was flavorful, it leaned a bit heavy on the lime. Our only drawback was the service experience. Our server seemed disengaged, lacking enthusiasm, which dampened the overall vibe. It felt as though he didn’t want to be there, which impacted what could’ve been an exceptional experience. On the bright side, the food was good.

   We brought out of town friends here for a gourmet take on Mexican food. Our hostess was gracious and seated us promptly. We started with delicious margaritas and some guacamole and chips. We were having fun visiting and we got no rush from our servers. Dinners included the shrimp enchiladas, chicken enchiladas, the filet and the carnitas. All very generous servings. Everyone LOVED their dinners. We also had a side of Brussels sprouts - not commonly found on Mexican restaurant menus but I totally recommend it. Sweet & salty and totally delicious! This was not an inexpensive dinner - over $300 for 4 people and only 3 of us drank; no dessert. But it’s worth it!

   My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful restaurant located in the Scottsdale Fairmont. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the gorgeous ambiance and the friendly staff. Valet service is available (which the restaurant validates), and we enjoyed the short walk to La Hacienda. Our server was knowledgeable and provided excellent recommendations for both food and drinks. We started with the pomegranate guacamole, which was delicious and came with a generous portion of chips. I ordered a Roasted Beet Salad, but it didn't have very many beets, and the ones included were chopped into very tiny pieces. For our main course, I ordered the Carnitas Hacienda, a slow-roasted pork dish with a lot of flavor. My wife had the Filet a La Parilla, a perfectly grilled beef tenderloin served on two Oaxaca cheese enchiladas. She loved it; the meat was tender and bursting with flavor. To top it off, our server surprised us with a complimentary Mexican Chocolate Tart for our anniversary. It featured caramel mousse, a dark cocoa crispy layer, and sea salt ganache. It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. While some reviews mentioned average food, we found our dishes to be delicious and well-presented. We didn't order any drinks, so I can't speak to the cocktail options. The only minor downside was that the restaurant was a bit chilly inside. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The combination of delicious food, beautiful ambiance, and attentive service made our anniversary celebration truly special. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning for another visit soon!

   Felt a little ambushed by a Valentines Day Prix Fix menu priced sky high with limited selections and a comp glass of booze for us non drinkers. Food was great, service was great, credit card was assulted.

   We love the restaurant! We have been going for the last 10 plus years. We have been very disappointed over the last couple of yeas!!!!! The last visit was absolutely excellent overall.....Food, Service and overall atmosphere:)

    Table side guacamole was perfect. Chips and salsa also wonderful and everything was freshly made as well as the margaritas. Beef fajitas were so delicious made with filet steak and the side sauces were a perfect compliment. Best Mexican food this Texan has had outside of San Antonio.
