   There were eight of us plus a baby. Everything was excellent. They didn't rush us to order. They did check on us periodically. Appetizers were excellent. Food was brought all at once and everyone liked their order. Ordered 3 desserts and they brought plates for everyone so we could share.

   We enjoyed celebrating a birthday dinner at LaZingara. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. I asked if we could bring a birthday dessert and they said of course you can. When it was served they made a beautiful presentation with a candle. They went the extra mile! We highly recommend LaZingara!

   Did not realize that this was such a good Italian restaurant. Should have tried this sooner since we lived in Prospect Heights for over 25 years. Discovered this place based on a Nextdoor recommendation. Enjoyed the Lasagna and my wife had the Cheese Ravioli. Have been looking for an excellent Lasagna since Little Villa in Des Plaines closed. Will definitely go back. We were there before 5 pm and the staff was very helpful.

   It was very loud and bright in the restaurant. The bathroom toilet seat was broken and toilet was backed up. We Started with arancini that tasted rancid. Lasagna and cavatelli lacked flavor. I was disappointed with the food. The service started out great but dwindled as the night went on. I won’t go back, unfortunately.

    Our first visit and we will be back. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Julian was attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Loved the charm of the restaurant and had a good neighborhood feel that you can come enjoy good food and wine with friends and family. Chicken Vesuvio, minestrone soup, Eggplant with Pomodoro sauce and Basil , zucchini fries , house salad, warm bread were all delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try some more delicious food.
