My husband and I both had the fish and chips. The portions were generous and the food was served quickly and was good and hot. We would definitely order that again.

This was a special 67 wedding anniversary breakfast for our friends he is 91 she is 86 they loved it as did we . The waitress Carol was amazing she was very pleasant always available for any of our needs . We were never rushed , food was plentiful and good ,the eggs were a bit cold on arrival but everything else was very good . It as especially nice when Carol gave our friends a desert to take home plus a card it made them feel very special . Thank you making their outing special they want to return for dinner one evening and we will do that for them Thanks again Carol was awesome ! Lydia Harris RN

One of my faves in Winnipeg. Super tasty dishes, I especially love the cucumber salad, meatballs and the Gnudi. The service is extremely good, I felt our server had the right balance of checking in with us frequently without feeling like we were being interrupted. We were headed to the ballet afterwards and were able to get the full meal and service in the 2 hrs. Being really close to the concert hall is added bonus!

Normally we love the food at state and main. However this time the bang bang shrimp was way over cooked,almost burnt. The server was nice a little slow she would say she would be back in a few minutes and it would be about 10 minutes before she came back.

Great! Food was fresh and delicious and our server was lovely!
