Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location. We have searched for the right restaurant and are happy that we have found it in Silver Run. Ken brings more than thirty years of varied restaurant experience with him to Bud's. From learning under Karl Beckley at the Greenlake Grill in Seattle to Food & Beverage Director of the Virgin Grand in the Virgin Islands, Ken is excited to return to Maryland. Chef Bryan Voltaggio found inspiration in a former Frederick car dealership showroom and transformed it into an open, airy space, with a long counter fronting an open kitchen serving modern American casual meals. Showroom serves Brunch seven days a week from 8am until 4pm and Dinner until 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 9pm Friday & Saturday. Adult beverages include boozy milkshakes, craft beers, wine, & signature cocktails. The service was better than the food. The lobster risotto had a couple of pieces of SMALL claw meat on a huge bowl of rice the taste was satisfactory but skimpy on The main reason to order the dish.

The octopus was exceptional: grilled crispy, yet moist and tender on the inside. The combination with harissa and salty nuts was superb. Haloomi also very good. Mains: scallops with corn, a fun surprise; filet, nicely prepared.

Absolutely wonderful experience. When is the last time you were not rushed thru your dining experience. When is the last time you actually had a dining experience for that matter. Very unique, very customer focused and memorable. Tristan was the best waiter. Just the right level of attention and very professional.
