Owned by Chef Allen Hess, FORC brings farm to table in the heart of Waimea. FORC showcases a farm to table aspect by bringing fresh harvests from Farmers, the Ocean and Ranchers. By changing our menu seasonally, we are able to get creative with what Hawai’i has to offer us. Local style brunch items like our FORC signature sandwich, brown butter banana pancakes and our housemade bacon. Hearty seasonal dinner dishes like our Big Island grass fed beef, whole roasted fish, and Chef’s Hawaiian Meal. There are vegetarian, paleo and gluten free options too.     Thanksgiving brunch was so ono ... wonderful assortment of food. Had me at steamed crab legs and melted butter, but also enjoyed the prime rib, bao buns w/pig & turkey, poke station, etc. Ate too much ... nap time now !

    We have patronized a bunch of the known popular venues and this is the best of all the big resort competitors. (Better than Bdown’s beach house, Meridia, CanoeHouse) Local chef, a local menu that is truly farm to table, and a wonderful atmosphere. We had a kabob with shrimp, steak and ahi with a beautiful presentation. We enjoyed two salads (beet was so good, it is easily enough to share) A lovely offering of sides, including a baked seasoned pumpkin which was delightful. Totally solid for kids, steak and mash was perfect and the pineapple and strawberry sorbet was a great finish. Chef/Owner came out and greeted us. We may go again tomorrow for their “happy hour, french dip”
