One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration. But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke.     Our first time eating at Drift was beyond our expectations. We were greeted extremely kindly and professionally (the host noted the occasion provided in our booking after politely asking how we were) and we were seated at an intimate table. There were not many other diners (less than 50% full) and the ambiance was quiet and very relaxing. Beautiful design and decor. The food was outstanding (hushpuppies, scotch egg, prime rib, and ravioli duo), and the cocktails were very tasty. Best of all, our server Angie was extremely courteous, doting and warm (she also commented kindly on the occasion). She answered my questions thoroughly. The staff are clearly very highly trained and the service level was the best we've had in over a decade of dining in Halifax. Thank you Angie!

    Double brunch date with friends. Ambience is perfect. Food was great as usual. Our server Elizabeth D was top notch. Very personable, patient, and attentive. That's why it's hard to get a table, everything is just right.

    We both ordered the full rack of ribs. Hubby had fries and I had twice baked potato, with a side order of Caesar dressing brussel sprouts. To finish it off, we had raspberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was amazing. We discovered her family's home is in the valley. What a small world! She was friendly, great sense of humour, and has an outstanding personality. Highly recommend her.

    Only disappointment is the flourless chocolate cake / tort. Experience has never been a "moist" cake. If it's a gluten free option, please have a regular as a non-gluten choice. Also a Tiramisu would be a great addition to the dessert menu!
