For our first time there we were totally impressed with the food and the ambiance. Brussel sprout appetizer was the best we've ever had & my half chicken entree was very tasty, with a helping of mushrooms n added bonus. And my wife's prosciutto entree was far more than she could eat. Overall, food & service, it was an awesome dining experience

Everything from the food to the service to the ambiance was nothing short of spectacular. 10/10 recommend making a reservation for Sunday Brunch.

Very good food. Menu not extensive but sufficient. Only issue is that the seating is close to other diners. Since we like to talk, it was somewhat inhibiting regarding what could be said. However it is understandable in a busy resort that they would want to accommodate many of their guests.

The wait staff all were exceptional in their politeness and attention to detail. Good food. Good service. A great way to start the day.

We really enjoyed our meals at Canal Side Inn. The food was excellent! Could not have been better. From interesting and fresh soup and salad choices, to well prepared and presented main courses and desserts, everything was great. The atmosphere is like taking a step back in time, with wood paneling and even a full phone booth outside the bar area. The music, tunes I remembered hearing at my grandparent's house, complemented the environment nicely. Tables were beautifully set and the service pleasant and attentive. The only thing that was a slight negative, and due to the age and location of the space, was a musty smell initially upon entering. A little bit like a grandparent's house, too! :) In no way did that impact the overall experience for us, and we will definitely be back.
