Shorty's Steakhouse is a unique dining experience. Established more than 20 years ago, along the historic Randolph Street in downtown Garrett, Indiana. Shorty's Executive Head Chef James Morrow has created & curated our menu over 10 years, carefully straddling the line of fine steakhouse dining, with small-town Indiana fare. We are located in Garrett, Indiana, 10 minutes from the historic Auburn downtown and the ACD museum. Also, 20 minutes north of Fort Wayne, Indiana, 15 minutes from Kendallville, Indiana and 25 minutes south of Angola, Indiana. We love that we bring all these communities together at Shorty's. Shorty's is proud to offer bar seating, family room seating and an outdoor patio we completed last year. We are laid-back and believe our guests' enjoy the incredible service & food without having to "dress-up". We embrace the great and growing community of Garrett, Indiana and love that we can share amazing cuisine in an unexpected location. See you soon!

Paula's on Main, in Fort Wayne, is a contemporary and elegant restaurant serving fresh seafood with delectable preparations in its casual and relaxing eatery. The boursin cheese medallion with crostini and raspberry chipotle sauce and the beer-steamed and seasoned peel-n-eat shrimp with cocktail sauce make tantalizing starter options. Some of Paula's on Main's specialty entrée dishes include the crab-stuffed whitefish with dill-caper hollandaise, the Thai tilapia in a crispy sesame crust with a Thai-spiced tartar sauce, the Alaskan king crab legs with drawn butter and the blackened salmon topped with a bleu cheese glaze, all made even better paired with wine.     Overall very good. I always get the steak salad. Sometimes it is excellent and sometimes okay. Yesterday the flavor was great but it seemed a little fatty for a filet. The service was good. I will definitely go back and I would recommend.

    From the moment we entered the restaurant we were catered to down to the last detail. Hostess was bright cheery and very friendly. We were a few minutes early, so I thought maybe we’d have to wait, but our table was ready for us as soon as we walked in the door. Front of house manager, Michael came over and spoke to us at the table as we were being seated. Asked if us if he could grab anything for us, it was a very nice touch and made us feel welcome. Our waitress came right over and got the kids drinks and some cocktails for me and my wife. She explained the specials very well and made sure the kids got some bread and butter right away. Michael, the manager, he was on top of it as well, as soon as rolls were gone, he made sure my kids had more Food and drinks came out in a timely manner, and all were excellent. I started with a nice craft beer, Shorty‘s old fashion during the salad. And a nice house Cabernet during dinner. I had the special, blue cheese crusted filet mignon.  After the meal even chef, James came out to our table to thank us, and make sure that everything came out per ordered. I would highly recommend Shorty’s. Seems like the staff is trained in hospitality and the food is so delicious .

    What a fun Singo 80s night! My hubby got the pork tatchos and loved it! The charcuterie board was great to share with our friends. My favorite wine, Brianna, was shared by all too! Kerrie did a great job waiting on us! Thanks for a fun night!
