Upon entering the door until I was leaving, everyone gave phenomenal services.

We dined at Shula’s Steak House on 2/15, to celebrate our son’s birthday. The staff surprised our son with a framed “Happy Birthday” note and hand-written card waiting for him at our table. Rachel Ann was our server, greeting us with a warm smile and “Happy Birthday.” She was very attentive and personable, yet professional. Food-wise, I ordered the Chilean Sea bass with vegetables, which was delicious. The three other people in our party ordered filet mignons, with sides of creamed corn and steamed broccoli, all of which they said were very good. The portions are large, especially the desserts! Shula’s surprised our son with a complimentary birthday dessert. He chose a piece of chocolate cake, which the four of us together enjoyed but couldn’t finish. Our dining experience was a 10 out of 10.

We had a quiet booth in the front of the restaurant across from the beautiful mahogany English style bar. This location was perfect for a private dining experience. The service was exceptional. We were given time to enjoy our meal and not feel rushed which is rare when compared with most restaurants in Gainesville. We ordered a ribeye steak with brandy pepper sauce. Cooked exactly as we requested and served on a warm plate. The jalapeño stuffed appetizer was exceptional. We look forward to going back.

This is our third Valentine’s Day meal at Mildred’s and each time we ask ourselves why we don’t eat here more often! The fixed price meal was amazing, with great options for salads/soups, entrees and especially desserts. We enjoyed the wedge salad and the carrot salad, as well as the lamb and swordfish entrees. Each was unique and perfectly prepared. The cakes and cheesecakes are to die for! Oh and we truly loved the cocktails too!

Complementary valet packing. Nice food. Great environment. My wife and I enjoyed it. Thanks.
