Brought back group to craft and cleaver for a meal and drinks. 1st the drinks... the rum I had was a generous measure and the best part unlike other nearby establishments was not watered down in any way. The beers we tried tasted nice and we enjoyed all our drinks a lot. The meal.... 1 word... meatylicious. We ordered 4x sharing platters which we were banging (although next time will swap chicken out for more sausage....) and a side for each of us. The amount of food was more than enough to satisfy even the greediest of carnivores and was enjoyed by all of us. Highly recommended for anyone who loves eating many animals with deep flavours and lovely sauces.

We had a lovely evening enjoying the atmosphere ,service and excellent quality of food.I got together with three friends for a Christmas meal and get together.We had excellent service from the minute we walked in till the minute we left.The food was outstanding with presentation and taste of excellent quality.The atmosphere was excellent with just enough lighting and noise level.We were in a grown up environment which felt very comfortable and enjoyable.The price was amazing with an excellent choice of good quality food.We will definitely be returning to Lussmanns through out the year.

Tom was our server and he was outstanding. Friendly, patient, helpful, informative, engaging but not over powering. We took up the recommendation of the special of chicken in white wine sauce with apple and chestnuts and shared a portion of country vegetables and chips. It was absolutely delicious and arrived very quickly. The portion sizes were ideal and everything arrived hot and well cooked. We were seated upstairs as it was a more relaxed and cosy area with deep green walls and lots of interesting pictures. We decided to have dessert and I can highly recommend the cheesecake. Tom even delivered a complimentary scoop of ice cream as we were celebrating, so very thoughtful. I highly recommend the restaurant.

I only discovered this restaurant the night before we visited on Friday 22 November. The weather was very cold but the online images and reviews were very warm! Our overall experience was well worth the 35 mile round trip! From start to finish everything was exceptional! Even the background music was to our taste and at a perfect level. We will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend this local gem.
