We recently dined at Salted Egg in the Quincy Hotel, Melbourne, opting for their $69 Tasting Menu. The experience was exceptional. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the food was a delightful journey through Southeast Asian flavors. The Tasting Menu featured four courses, allowing us to sample a variety of dishes. Each course was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the chef’s expertise in blending traditional and modern culinary techniques. The portions were generous, ensuring we left fully satisfied. In the Den to start with, great service , drinks and people. Then onto restaurant , food and service both great, impressive . Then to the front bar, service a little slow there, staff focused elsewhere, but still great drinks. Overall, great night.

Excellent service delivering an innovative degustation menu. I loved the wine pairing. We sat at the bar facing the action in the open kitchen. It was a highlight watching the finely tuned chef team in action. A great experience. Highly recommended.

What a great find! We were welcomed by the owner/Chef who gave us a an overview of the menu. It did not disappoint. The dumplings OMG best I’ve ever had; the Chicken Laska; AMAZING. Give this restaurant a try you won’t be disappointed. THE FOOD IS DEVINE. 100% loved it
