Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. We work closely with our local farms and purveyors to curate fresh, seasonal menus that feature regionally sourced meats, a rotation of fresh oysters and select seafood. All of our breads, pastas, and pastries are prepared in-house daily. Our Bar offers local beers, seasonal craft cocktails, and a well chosen wine selection. We are currently operating under all Covid-19 restrictions and following all CDC and local guidelines. The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our #1 priority. Outdoor reservations are by phone only. We look forward to seeing you.

We are a small, boutique steakhouse that focuses on exceptional food and incredible service in the mountains of East Tennessee and typically cannot seat guests earlier than their reserved time.While we have always discouraged them, our policy towards no shows/same day cancelations MUST be firm.     The perfect way to kick off Christmas! The restaurant's festive decorations set the mood beautifully. We enjoyed some time at the bar before dinner, which added to the experience. The food was outstanding—our table ordered the elk steak, venison, and red snapper, and every dish was a hit. Fine dining is a rare treat for us, so when we splurge, we want it to feel special. This meal did not disappoint - it was truly a memorable evening!

    Always a favorite! A great place to relax and enjoy some of the best Italian-inspired dishes around. The portions are hot, fresh, flavorful, and filling. There is a great beer and wine list to satisfy everyone's taste and their appetizer menu has different flavors that everyone can enjoy. We love the atmosphere as it is warm and inviting; you can definitely relax and enjoy the company of those you are eating with. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We'll be back!
