Itria is a Modern Italian restaurant brought to you by Chef Daniel Evers and Omakase Capital. The name comes from the Syriac word 'itriya,' used by Arab geographer al-ldrisi to describe a type of dried pasta he saw in Sicily during the 12th century. The origins of this term are much older, however, with varying versions of it found in ancient records across the Mediterranean and Middle-East. The name reflects just a small piece of the evolution of Italian cuisine as a confluence of global influences. Our goal is to build on the foundations of classical Italian cooking to create a dining experience that respects tradition without being overly constrained by it.

Donaji is a restaurant in San Francisco that serves Oaxacan, Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is owned and operated by Chef Isai Cuevas, who is a native of Oaxaca, Mexico. Chef Isai serves up his two favorite things: Maiz in all of its forms alongside a blooming Mezcal program Highlighting Oaxacan Distilleries. The menu at Donaji features a variety of Oaxacan dishes, including Mole, Tlayudas, and Incredible Enchiladas. We also have a Mexican Spirits Bar program with Oaxacan Mezcal at the Forefront along with some other eclectic Mexican Spirits, Mexican Wine and Local Beers.

    This place lives up to the reviews. We had an incredible experience all around with the most authentic Mexican food, drinks, and amazing service. The staff was attentive and the chefs produced food of the upmost quality, shooting us back to our trip to Oaxaca. We look forward to coming back!

    Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I would definitely return. It was a busy Saturday night so the service was on the slower side - but all very, very polite. Excellent range of Japanese sashimi, nigiri, udon, hand rolls, and a la carte - we had the chef’s nigiri tasting menu options for 5 and 8 pieces. The fish liver appetizer was sold out or else we would have had that too. Plus the “avocado bomb” appetizer, which arrived after our sushi. We tried a couple of sakes too. Everything was super flavorful and umami-rich. I will be craving it until I can have it again.

    Great food! We will return. The staff is a little stretched, but that's just a post-covid world. It wasn't all that busy, just busy enough to slow things down. She was attentive and efficient in her job. The pozole is not to be missed! It's not just a soup.
