The Wild Fork in Tulsa, Oklahoma has been open since 1995, the brainchild of two friends, Julie Woolman and Kim Michie. Located in Utica Square, the restaurant still maintains much of the character its predecessor left behind, but the kitchen has been updated and the menu is continuously revised. We had a wonderful experience. Our server was busy but tried his hardest to be attentive. Biscuits were always warm and fresh! The ONLY issue we had was lipstick on the wine glass. While we didn’t make a fuss about it, this is truly a pet peeve of mine. There’s absolutely no reason for this. It passes through no less than 3 hands from the last person to us. The dishwasher or busser should be wiping off lipstick/chapstick on the glasses before they get washed as they rarely if ever come out in the wash. Then the bartender touches it to pour the wine, it’s not hard for them to take a look before giving it to the server. At that point the server can take a quick look. This is one of those it takes a moment of mindfulness, and it’s easy to do. Everything else was great!
