First time there and it won’t be our last! Great locally sourced food, a rarity around here. Steak was done perfect and rainbow trout was delicious. Service was good, especially since they were busy. Highly recommended!

My ride took me on a mini getaway and on a rainy night 1919 was perfect. Maddie was a great sever and took the best care of us. The pretzel was a perfect starter and the elk stroganoff was amazing. Great suggestion Maddie!

Exceptional as always. Could use some an updated cocktail menu, but that’s my only mild criticism. Everything was top notch.

Exquisitely beautiful , comfortable, relaxing ambiance with light music. I was happy there was no live music that night the piano and horns are way too loud. As far as food the star of the show was the beef filet with Demi glaze was out of this world tender and delicious. However, the sea bass was very fishy and the Cesar salad was wilty drowning in too much dressing with way too much vinegar for a Cesar. So food wise good and bad we definitely will be back, because the service is excellent and wonderful. Maybe just needs a more experienced chef or additional chef to really improve all the taste details that people expect at this level of dining.

Best food in Manitowoc for a fine dinner. Great service.
