Had a gourmet experience (bought as a Christmas present for hubby). Wow! Cocktails fab, nibbles amazing, starters and mains incredibly generous. Desert one of the best ever (treacle tart). No room for our cheese course so staff kindly said we could have it next time we visit. Service here is always exemplary and having familiar faces to serve us is a bonus.

We lunched here once more, our first meeting in the New Year. The service from Lucy was excellent. The food was as good as ever. We will certainly be returning. Thank you for a really good dining experience.

Greeted and taken to our table upstairs. The restaurant even at 12:50 was very busy. Lovely cozy clean vibe busy with staff who were very attentive. We were shortly over to a better table by the window which was also a little larger. I had a voucher for my birthday. Don’t know how they knew, but they gave me a glass of champers which was so kind. We both went for the Sunday roasts, both cooked beautifully but unfortunately were on the tepid side (we like our gravy steaming) so it chilled the food a little. I also had a pear and almond pudding with extra hot (I asked) custard, Devine. We would definitely recommend this Bistro, prices were moderate also. Cant fault the service. Looking forward to going back.

First visit to hard rock Newcastle and loved it . Been to Dominican Republic hard rock hotel , and hard rock cafes in Dublin , Edinburgh and Glasgow , newcastke was really good , only downside was a large group of drunk men being placed in booth behind and 2 tables next to us but it was a sat night 7 pm ish so to be expected , we still enjoyed our food and service and the overall atmosphere was really good . Luckily we found parking a 10 min walk away as no parking at the venue or surrounding unless your a permit holder which was fine for us but may dissuade others . Would def return 👍

Brilliant as always, the softest turkey in a Christmas dinner I have ever eaten. We love this restaurant and come every Christmas Eve.
