We went for restaurant week and the food was amazing. We ordered oysters off menu from the restaurant week menu and it was delicious. We had the best server, Theresa. She was so personable and the staff at Baldamar was top notch. I worked in the restaurant industry for a long time and have eaten at many restaurants whether it’s 3 Michelin stars to James Beard award winning places and Baldamar was up there. The staff made sure the plates were cleared, water was filled, checked on us consistently but very timely and food came out perfect!! Definitely recommend Baldamar!

This was a fun surprise. We weren’t sure what to expect of a non-chain Italian restaurant in Champlain. We went on a Saturday night, with a reservation and we’re were glad we had one. The place was packed, but they got us in promptly. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu, specials and had good wine recommendations. We chose the calamari, which was fine. The ability to add anchovies on our Cesar salads was a tasty upgrade. For the entrees, we chose the carbonara with three shrimp (fantastic) and the surf and turf with a filet and scallops. We were a little skeptical of their comparison to downtown steaks, but it was right on. It was very tender and perfectly prepared. The scallops were also good. We splurged for their toffee cake and an espresso martini for dessert. Both were delicious but the toffee cake was especially so. You can eat here very well on a budget. However with the wine, appetizer, entree add-ons and dessert, our bill was in line with downtown prices, but only 8 minutes away. We’ll be back, both for the food, and when we’re just looking for some quality dessert.

Our entire experience exceeded expectations…innovative menu was exceptional. Professional staff were gracious, experienced, personable, helpful and knowledgeable. There was tasty music and we could converse and hear. I highly recommend Young Joni for an adventure into fresh dining experience dealt by professional staff.

I have now dined at Barzini's twice and EACH time has been an amazing experience!! The food is Super high quality and absolutely delicious!! Everything we ordered was good. The servers and staff are awesome as well...very attentive and super friendly. I give Barzini's a super enthusiastic 5 Stars!! Would really recommend dining here, if you love Italian cuisine and The Godfather you're guaranteed to LOVE it!
