I dine fairly frequently at the Ivy, today we took Australian friends who were very impressed and enjoyed the lunch immensely.

Unfortunately it was not the experience we expected. We were told that our meal would be completed prior to the theatre start and to relax and enjoy the meal. Due to staff shortages this was not the case. However, the staff reacted well, gave us a refund for the desserts that had not arrived in time, dismissed the service charge and arranged for a free drink in the interval. Disappointed that it was the experience we had been looking forward to, but happy with how it was dealt with. We will return.
