We feature eleven local beers on tap; a selection that changes based on the availability of the best offerings from the local brewers. The food is both classic and daring. The menu is wide enough to please any guest while narrow enough to ensure quality and freshness. Vaulted ceilings, brick arches, natural wood, and warm tones make Solid Grill and Bar the perfect dining getaway. The walls are decked with local art that has a distinctly Boise theme.     We really enjoyed our dinner there. Great location and service from Sawyer was terrific. Husband loves their halibut fish and chips when they are available. I had the lobster special dinner which was very good. I've had lobster specials at other restaurants, and they are usually very dry and rubbery (we're looking at you, Ruth's Chris). The Anthony's lobster special dinner was moist and perfectly cooked. Parking structure with an elevator straight up to the restaurant is super easy too.

    Did not have our reservation from OpenTable on their books. Luckily it wasn’t busy. Was seated in the bar area and the bartender was our server. Appetizers and main meal came out minutes apart.

    Food was good, parking was good, the atmosphere was so so and server could have been a little better. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either. Just kind of average. Had to wait to get silverware and the food took a little too long. The waitress was nice. Overall I love that they take reservations and they had music outside which was a nice e touch. I will go back as the menu was diverse and it was a good value.
