Since 1996 in Cruz Bay, St. John. A Favorite of locals, loyal repeats and new guests. We just moved to our new beach location as La Tapa Plage in the Wharfside Hotel Village in March of 2022, still featuring the same interesting ever changing menu including fresh local seafood, organic greens & herbs form Coral Bay, flavors with a touch of Spain & France (Basque Country), Germany and Caribbean. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, cozy and inspired by our great wines, delicious food, good service in a beautiful atmosphere. ---Open for dinner service at 5PM Friday through Wednesday. Outstanding, perfectly prepared cuisine in a lovely seaside setting! Service was excellent. The waitress was very nice and upbeat. Throughout the meal, she was very attentive without being overbearing. The wine she recommended was wonderful. The tuna was very fresh and delicious. The octopus was tender and the sauce was terrific. The paella was even better than last year. For dessert, we shared the flourless chocolate cake which was a wonderful way to end a spectacular meal.

Get a 5:30 res if you can. Perfect timing for a completely relaxed and pampered sunset celebratory dinner. Fish was excellent and desserts were out of this world. Budino best we have ever had. Thank you to the staff!!!

While it has been awhile since we were last here, this experience was like our previous ones. The food was very good and nicely presented. We STT at the bar and the service was great and our bartender/waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu with suggestions that were spot on. Of course the views are hard to beat on St J.
