Ilan Cohen is a self-taught chef who began his career in Jerusalem, Israel more than 20 years ago. Along with his wife Lauren they opened Falafel Bistro & Wine Bar in 2007, DVASH’s sister location, and has been serving authentic-Israeli cuisine to the South Florida community for more than a decade. DVASH, located in Boca Raton, showcases a modern twist on classic mediterranean cuisine.     Despite the busy holiday crowd, the service and food were exceptional. Chuck was informative and knowledgeable about the menu selections and was an attentive, gracious server. City Fish is consistently fabulous! Highly recommend the Clams Casino, Crab Fritters, Skillet Seafood Newburg, and the Stuffed Flounder. It was our first time trying those particular menu items, and they were delicious! The Crab Fritters were so good that I could have feasted on only them and been ecstatic!

    Love the food and drinks here, consistent quality, always delicious. Our waitress on Christmas Eve was spectacular, relaxed yet had us covered, made us relax and enjoy the moment with family and close friends. A go-to for dining out any time, and especially on holidays or special occasions.

    This place was highly recommended and lived up to expectations. We loved the modern take on Israeli and regional food. I've never had grape leaves this tasty and prepared this way. The service was top notch, food came out quickly, considering the caliber. My relative who is used to standard diner fare loved her dish. Well worth a stop if in the area.

    We came in to celebrate our son's 18th bday. From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we walked out everything was perfect. Our server Sebastian was one of the best servers we've ever had in any restaurant. He knew the menu, made amazing recommendations and so kind. We ordered carpaccio and empanadas for appetizers. Yum! They had these specialty drinks were delicious and so fun. For entrees we ordered skirt steak, rack of lamb, ribeye, NY strip and stroganoff. We all literally ate every morsel on the plate. We highly recommend and obviously will be back soon.
