A beautiful, elegant experience with lovely food, great service, and excellent music tonight!

Dined here to celebrate a birthday. The cheese bread with shrimp and Rockefeller sauce was delicious and perfect to share for our larger group. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Shrimp and grits, Pelican sandwich, Shrimp Poboy, Friend shrimp meal with additional oysters and the Fresh Grouper prepared Italian Fra Diavolo. Huge lump crap and red chili flakes! Yum. Justin our server offered a complimentary dessert but we had a cake. He offered small plates and brought them promptly. Several staff members stopped by to say happy birthday. We were also well attended throughout our meal by Justin. Always a great experience here and we like to support small independent and locally owned businesses.

The food was delicious, the service impeccable. Carlos was on point. Small restaurant but packs a big punch. Definitely worth it.

Every time we go to Grotto, we have an awesome dining experience. Energetic, wonderful views of the pool and landscape areas, great wine list, amazing food from the Grotto salad to the fresh sourdough bread to the shrimp & crab capellini; always on of my favorites of all time.

Gaido is a Galveston institution- and our family eats there every time we are in town. Excellent service, delicious food and the warm ambiance of tradition is always a must. This time we had the raw oysters (in season) which were delicious and my husband appreciated the custom martini menu. We also never forget to order the pecan pie- which is famous for a reason! Great food, great memories and like always, we will be back….
