Celebrating our 18th anniversary: Door swung open by staff and quickly Greeted w a smile and ushered over to our window table (nice touch). Ordered the red Sangria; it didn’t disappoint. Flavorful and filled high. Nice touch. Waiter was w impeccable service and timing. It was like Olea had a perfect script for us. Had the salad and tried an appetizer with some wonderfully delicious seafood. It came with a ?lime froth on top. Wow! Octopus, scallops, etc. Next, we enjoyed the special of the day (market price) Black Sea bass in a green sauce. Not as tasty as expected, but presentation and food prepared to perfection. The market price was same as normal entree prices. Omg. $33-35. My Cornish Hen was very tasty and tender. The potato with tomatoes and mushrooms atop was delightful. Often, hen like this is overcooked, but, again, tender and juicy. We were unable to participate in dessert- Sangria was hitting a bit and preferred to walk for a while. Next time, we will enjoy the dessert selections as the table next to us appeared thrilled w the options that were brought to their table to choose. What a magical experience! Muchas gracias. The door opened by the staff, and my wife and I exited. Enjoy.

Great service, great menu, great location, great vibe. You can't go wrong.

The food at Heirloom is always delicious and healthy whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have eaten at Heirloom many times and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. Occasionally the service while very courteous, can be slow and the noise levels can sometimes be higher than ideal on the weekends. In spite of this, Heirloom is our go to place to eat in New Haven and we recommend it highly.

What an amazing meal! Delicious so many choices and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Great drinks as well. Many choices for the vegetarian with us as well but plenty to keep meat eaters more than happy. Thanks for a great meal!
