Located in the basement of the historic Red Brick Inn, this once-speakeasy now legally sells local drafts, bourbons and wines, domestic bottles, and delicious craft cocktails.     This was our second visit, and we really enjoyed ourselves. They have it decorated for Christmas and our waiter was outstanding. We will be going back, and reservations are recommended to avoid a long wait. We had reservations both times.

    The Mixer offers Southern cuisine with an elevated, sophisticated twist, and it does not disappoint. As a native of Hopkinsville, KY, their bourbon cocktail was a nostalgic delight—it truly felt like a taste of home. The star of the evening, however, was the trout dish. Cooked to perfection, it was topped with a white wine sauce that was simply chef’s kiss. The balance of flavors showcased both creativity and respect for Southern traditions. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort food with a touch of elegance, The Mixer is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

    It is a nice restaurant with the beautiful view of the lake. The food was very good though a little pricey, but that is expected for waterfront 90 service was good. The music was a bit loud for conversation, but I am also getting kind of old we will go back.
