1st time visit. Very nice ambiance, with a modern cafe influence. Seated right away. Wait staff was attentive. Table ordered empanada app for 4, 2 dinner salads, flat bread with honey butter, a French dip, and minestrone soup with a side order. Two sodas and two draft beers for 4 people. Food was “okay” but nothing that was outstanding. Price was well over $150 plus tip. We can say tried it, but with all the options in Gilbert AZ, likely won’t be back and can’t identify them as a top 5 in town.

This Culinary Dropout has a beautiful large outdoor area thar is in front of the indoor portion and is on Gilbert Road. Mostly not too loud except when motorcycles or louder cars drive by drowning out conversations. Large indoor area was quiet atleast at lunch on this particular day. Service was stellar with ice tea refills and attentive service. The fried chicken amazingly delicious as always (the only place I will eat fried chicken.)Served with mashed potatoes, gravy,cole slaw and a biscuit…always more than one meal. Friends also had the chicken and one had a roast beef sandwich which she enjoyed. Have eaten now at the Scottsdale version and Gilbert..both excellent and highly recommended

My favorite dining venue in downtown Mesa! Espiritu is a gem, and the entire team aims to please! Cuisine is extra special and so tasty! Cocktails are varied, and our server, Morgan, gave us sound recommendations! Super delighted to spend with Armando and Roberto tonight.

Our server was top notch! Drinks were properly executed and the Lost in Tokyo is probably one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Very nice dimly lit atmosphere great for catching up and date nights.
