A third generation chef of Spanish and Italian descent, and hailing form Paris, France, Christophe's restaurant career began at 17 in the kitchen of his father's restaurant in Pasadena when they first emigrated to the USA. Upon returning to southern California in 2011, Christophe spent 8 years as the managing partner of Eddie V's Prime Seafood in La Jolla. Here he deepened his knowledge of sourcing and cooking the freshest seafood available, while delivering world class service.     It can get busy, best way to make sure you get a table is to make a reservation. Ordered a few things to try, Lomo Saltado, Macho, Beet Salad and a Ceviche Mixto. The ceviche was great probably a tad bit more salt and it would've been perfect Beet salad... Beets.. The Lomo was a tad salty for me but the meat was very tender and a good size portion of food. Macho was my favorite a good variety of seafood and lots of flavor.

    A group of colleagues and I came to Beeside for a business lunch because it is one of our favorite spots in San Diego. We were seated right away on the balcony which was a bit breezy however we were brought a portable heat lamp plus we had an overhead heat lamp that was built in. The portable heat lamp went out and we asked several times if we could get a new heat lamp since it was chilly. The server was very nice but I think she got distracted so we never got the new heat lamp. Other than that, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding, as usual. We love Beeside. Thanks for a great meal!
