Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year.     Today lunch with family from NY. This restaurant is always a reliable choice for an exceptional dining experience. Even with the hustle & bustle of holiday crowds, our server was courteous, pleasant, and attentive. The food came out fast and was delicious. I was so glad we dined here!

    (Lunch review) Haven’t been to Earl’s in a very long time. I remember it being a lot more formal back in the day. I think their description nails it: “casual rustic charm” with “contemporary cuisine”. Great vibe, clean and attentive service. Perfect spot for a nice lunch in Peddlers Village. The Lobster Dumplings were so good that I hoped my wife didn't like them - but of course she loved them. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich with honey-whipped feta was spot on perfect. IMHO, Earl’s and Caleb’s are the two best lunch spots in the immediate village.

    We were here a week or two ago. We sat with the lovely collection of the Queens china collectibles and treasures in the tavern. Today we sat in the main dining room with a view of the Delaware River! Gorgeous views. Great ambiance. Good food! Nice wine selection. We will definitely be back!

    Our first time here on the recommendation of a friend. We loved it and will go back, and take friends with us. Beautiful location, easy parking, and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Great menu (caters to vegans and vegetarians). Like how it's connected to the nursery which in itself was amazing.
