In the 1920s, the building was home to a provisions merchant owned by husband and wife Emily and Charles Lums. Their shop, EA Lums & Co, was a place for locals to grab quality ingredients from a family-owned shop. We had a delightful experience at Sushia Izakaya! The food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it the ideal setting for our Christmas celebration. Sushia Izakaya exceeded our expectations, and I can’t wait to return!
