A contemporary take on the classic oyster bar, located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, near BAM, Barclay's, the Paramount, and Atlantic Terminal. Strange Delight finds its influence in New Orleans and is also inspired by the rich history of oysters in New York. This was a nice, cozy place to eat. I cannot stress enough how amazing the cream of mushroom soup was. It was one of the best parts of my meal and, in general, one of my favorite soups I’ve ever had. I got the steak frites which cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce. I strongly recommend this place to eat if you’re in the area. It was a small-ish dining area, but comfortable for a fair sized group. There was someone celebrating their birthday there with around 10 or so people and they were seated pretty nicely.
