The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. The menu includes several White Dog staples, such as Kennett Square Mushroom Soup, Double Cheddar Burger, Lamb Bolognese, Truffle Fries, and house-made bread baskets from local farms, alongside new additions.

Spinnerstown Hotel is a restaurant serving rustic local cuisine in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The dining areas of are divided into 3 parts. The first is a casual soapstone bar and wooden booth-lined taproom, with 18 rotating beers on tap and a simple, rustic atmosphere. The second is a handsomely homey dining room (sans TV) complete with a fireplace, stone walls and hand painted ceiling. The third is an outside barn-like deck with vaulted ceilings. The cuisine is simple farmhouse fare, but with its own modern twist. Diners will find house-made burgers, Belgian-style mussels and hearty entrées like the in-house butchered boneless rib eye or hand rolled gnocchi.     It was our first time eating in this wonderful restaurant. It came highly recommended from family and friends. We loved the look of the venue… The multiple rooms to dine in, the bar, the awesome seating area around the fireplace and the outdoor area for the summertime. Our server James came over and gave us a very warm greeting which set the tone for the evening. The mushroom soup & French onion soup were so tasty and perfect for a very chilly evening. The barbecue pork spareribs, the crabcakes and the flounder were absolutely out of this world. They came highly recommended from James. He described these entrées in such detail and with such passion that one would've imagined that he had cooked them himself. The apple pie strudel for dessert was a perfect ending to an awesome meal. We were really blown away with the menu items and the quality of the food and the plating, kudos to the chef. What really made our evening fun and memorable was James's level of service and attention to detail. Thank you James !!!

    our waitress, Karen (I think) was the perfect amount of attentive but not invasive - bravo! The food was tasty, but it was tough wrestling with the grilled shrimp and scallops on the skewers - amybe the chef could slide them off to make eating less messy for the customer?
