We just moved to our new beach location as La Tapa Plage in the Wharfside Hotel Village in March of 2022, still featuring the same interesting ever changing menu including fresh local seafood, organic greens & herbs form Coral Bay, flavors with a touch of Spain & France (Basque Country), Germany and Caribbean. Our goal is to make you feel welcome, cozy and inspired by our great wines, delicious food, good service in a beautiful atmosphere. ---Open for dinner service at 5PM Friday through Wednesday. For parties larger than 6, please call the restauarant at 340-693-7755.---We will be open for Thanksgiving, but closed on Christmas Day.-**We do not have high chairs or booster seats.     Our food was delicious and the ambiance was lovely. Our server was Pauline and she was fantastic. The portions sizes were good. We enjoyed the tempura octopus, Caribbean jerk ribeye, banana bread pudding and brownie a la mode. We would come here again if we return to St. Thomas.

    My family of 5 absolutely loved our experience at The Refinery. We arrived at 8:30 on Christmas night and the staff was clearly working really hard to accommodate a very busy evening - but all the while they were friendly and kind trying to make room to seat us. While they were out of empanadas by the time we ordered, it did not matter as we were totally delighted by the inventive combinations of flavors in all of the appetizers we shared ( we devoured 2 sticky and delicious popcorn chicken, a crab and corn fritters and a couple of salads) and then the special lobster and Trinidad Doubles entrees wowed us again - unexpected flavors so different from home (NYC) but absolutely delicious! This was our best meal yet on St John and our favorite service as well - they almost felt like family by the time we left. Loved and highly recommend!
