We were very happy with the overall experience at Five O’clock Steakhouse. The staff was very pleasant and provided great service. The ambiance was classic supper club with a fine dining feel. The only thing that prevented us from giving it 5 stars was due to lack of flavor in the steak. We got a porterhouse and a rib eye, both medium rare. They were cooked perfectly and were very tender with a beautiful char. So when we took our initial bites and were met with steak very obviously lacking in salt, it was disappointing. The gravy under the steak was fabulous. When I reheated my leftovers and added a generous sprinkle of salt, I finally felt all the flavors come together as they should. Given that this place is a steakhouse, I wish the steaks met that expectation we had because there’s very clearly so much potential there. The Thai buffalo shrimp and tiramisu were outstanding! I’d come back just for those items!

The food was surprisingly excellent. The Salmon Lox appetizer was wonderful and creative with fried capers! The shrimp cocktail was large and had pickled red onions on top…..delicious!!!!!! I would definitely try this place for dinner. We just had lunch. Also the value was very good.

We enjoyed the most fabulous mother-daughter dinner with Olivia as our server. Food was stellar and service was amazing. Delicious drinks as well! Try the Frappe Martini for dessert.

Food is very good and authentic. Our server Lizzy was patient with us and offered suggestions. The timing was perfect.
