DEXTER is a no rules approach to American BBQ brought to you by Adam Goldblatt, Sam and Tom Peasnell. Our meatery features the best Australian produce which is treated the right way. Chefs Tom (Pitt Cue Co, London) and Adam (Homeslice, London) pay homage to the low and slow traditions of American BBQ utilising smoking, chargrill techniques and pair this with flavours from Mexico, China, France and alike.     We had a birthday special occasion and wanted to have a great food great atmosphere experience. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We’ve been here a number of times and it’s always a great experience.

    The food and cocktails were standout, there wasn’t a dish we didn’t enjoy (and we tried 3/4 of the menu!). The kingfish and chicken pâté were our favourites, and the oysters were really fresh and zingy. The service was efficient and friendly, and our food came out quickly. We agreed that next time we would choose a table in the bar over the main seating areas, as the converted ‘cells’ don’t get a lot of natural light. However, if you’re looking for something cozy and intimate these rooms certainly fit the brief!

    Delicious pizza and good drink selections. We also love the garlic bread buns. Their dishes are unique but also classic. Well balanced flavours.

    It was a lovely dinner and the staff were very friendly and the service was good. The pork we ordered off the set menu was extremely fatty that most of the meal was left on the plate due to the fact it was mostly fat. However, the little meat that was in the dish was delicious. The rose and strawberry dessert was fantastic!
