Gather at the Blue Pig Tavern, our distinctive restaurant tucked in the corner of Congress Hall. Known for hearty breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites, its name derives from a gambling parlor sited in Congress Hall in the mid-1800s. Earlier still, in the 1700s, Elias Hughes operated a tavern for whalers on this site. It was the first tavern in Cape May. Today, we offer timeless classics and new seasonal delights with ingredients that are always farm-fresh.

In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water. Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. We will do our best to accommodate requests for seating preferences and/or outside dining, but they cannot be guaranteed based on limited outdoor seating.     Excellent dinner, Excellent service, Beautifully decorated for the holidays. It's good to know that there still is a 5star restaurant in CapeMay. A few of our favorite restaurants in Cape May have slipped in the past couple years especially with service. The Ebbitt Room hit every standard of excellence and they were open past 8pm!

    Professional yet friendly service delivered by Danny. Tasty grilled polenta and arancini apps followed by delicious braised short ribs over pasta, and sausage and broccoli rabe over rigatoni. Dinner was capped off with cappuccinos, bread pudding and apple cake with a personal touch lit candle honoring my daughter’s birthday. Great experience, service, food, ambiance makes Tisha’s one of my favorite fine dining spots.

    I was so grateful that the Blue Pig Tavern honored my requests for seating by putting my partner and I at the table we hoped for, off in the corner of the room with the fireplace. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and warm and everyone treated us so kindly. What a special anniversary dinner. (Also, the pumpkin pie with cranberry drizzle was one of the best desserts I've ever had).
