Mike was an amazing server! We will always request him at our future visits. So personable, funny, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The limoncello crème brûlée was out of this world!! The steak an poivre is still our top steak dish on Cape. Espresso martinis were an excellent way to end the meal. Another fantastic dinner at Leonessa!! You can count on us being back!

The food here was fantastic! We sat at the bar and our bartender/waitress, Tanya, was terrific. My eggplant rollatini was a lighter entree (this can be heavy, but not here), with a delicious marinara sauce—Gorgonzola cheese was bonus flavor! My Villaggio salad was fresh and chopped and the Chianti creamy Italian dressing was sooo good. My cod entry was lemony, salty goodness. And the desserts were delicious. It was so cool eating in an old home..really loved it!

The view from the dining room is AMAZING-one of the best dining views on the Cape, imo. The food is delicious-I had the caramelized endive salad with a lovely citrus dressing, and the fish stew, which had clams, potatoes and a big piece of perfectly cooked monkfish surrounded by a briny, buttery broth. Finished the meal off with a lemon tart which was nice and sharp-only complaint there was the graham cracker crust was a bit too thick. All in all a great meal…will definitely be back.

Our wait time was a bit longer than normal due to staffing issues, but the meal was well worth waiting for. Server was busy but took time to stop by and check in on our food, drinks, etc. A lovely evening to celebrate a birthday.
