Located just a few meters from the Duomo in Florence, Regina Bistecca is a restaurant dedicated to the true “bistecca alla fiorentina” and traditional Florentine food culture.For over 140 years the same address has been the location for the antiquarian bookseller Gonnelli, which has been in the same family for four generations and has now relocated.Although nowadays offering something different, the objective was to preserve and maintain the unique atmosphere of a historical place in which to offer a gratifying experience merging food, art, and history.

Il Palagio is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm. Outdoor service is available only during summer time, weather permitting. The Palazzo Della Gherardesca was unusual for its time in that its main interior space, the atrium, was originally designed as a secondary courtyard. Now covered with a glass roof, like the courtyard Lobby, the Hotel’s Atrium Bar occupies a vast sun-lit and decorative space, serving lunch, dinner, and the typical Italian aperitif, afternoon tea, desserts, coffee and cocktails. It offers a selection of delicious and out-of-the ordinary drinks, from the Valentino, our take on the classic Negroni, to the latest cocktails and preparations on the list.
