Food was very good! Had the lobster bisque and salmon salad. Went with my parents and husband for a shared anniversary celebration and the staff was super nice. Gave us a dessert that was unexpected. I have food allergies and they accommodated me cheerfully which was very nice for a change! We will be back.

It was another great experience at The Gruene Door. Our favorite restaurant in New Braunfels. The food is always consistent and delicious. Great wines to choose from and outstanding cocktails. All completed by outstanding service. Once again, Maddie did a great job timing our courses perfectly.

No need to go to downtown Austin anymore. This location is amazing. Cute location. Easy parking. Amazing and attentive staff. Very welcoming. Charming. Food for happy hour - delicious and well portioned. Great drinks! Give the hostess, bartender, and severs - heck to whole place a raise. Bartender gave us a free churro donut that was such a lovely ending to a friends gathering. Make sure you make a reservation during peak times.
