Had a lovely lunch with my sisters to celebrate a birthday. We had excellent service, food was great and arrived promptly. We chose from the lunchtime fixed menu which is excellent value. Our waiter was very attentive and refilled our water glasses many times. We were even presented with a free desert plus candle for our birthday girl. Will definitely come again.

Food was excellent and well worth the wait. The wait, well I would say on a busy Mother’s Day serving 5 courses and garden open too, they should have had more staff. I noticed the servers and kitchen weren’t communicating very well causing us to wait roughly an hour for 1st and 2nd course to arrive. We had to ask for dessert and coffee to come at the same time, as our bottoms were numb. Total time in the restaurant was 2.5hours. They were understanding about us wanting to take the service charge off. If you are looking for a slow afternoon with amazing food and gardens this is your place, but we will be back.

Wow, we absolutely love the Ivy in the Lanes, wasn’t sure if the Bournemouth Ivy would be the same, it was. The staff were wonderful, very attentive and polite, couldn’t fault anything. Absolutely fantastic evening, thank you all. We will definitely be booking again on our next visit to Bournemouth.
