Novio’s is an inspired bistro offering a small and selective menu that includes items that are representative of the education, training, travels and experiences of our team.  We feature meats & seafood and produce from local farms, fisherman and other purveyors. The menu offers vegetarian and gluten free options, beautiful soups and salads, and fresh pasta. Novio’s offers a full service bar that showcases an elegant yet approachable wine list, craft beers, and signature cocktails and an extensive scotch & bourbon list. Items on the menu change often as our team becomes inspired by the stories of experiences had by our guests. While guests seated at tables and booths order from the four course menu with an optional wine pairing guests that book reservations at the bar have an option of ordering à la carte.

The first floor offering an array of ambient possibilities; catering to all types of gatherings, both large and small.NOTES: Booking “Bar” is a seat on the 1st floor or 3rd bar*, there are no tables.Booking “Counter” is an outdoor seat at our chair rail on our rooftop.*Booking “Outdoors” is a table on our rooftop.**Guests must be able to walk up multiple flights of stairs. This outdoor seating experience is not undercover. The Barncastle Hotel and Restaurant serves Alsatian-inspired cuisine using local and seasonal ingredients. Chef Owen Royce-Nagel and his wife, both Sommelier- and Cicerone-certified, Lizzie Szczepaniak, have been crafting their concept and menu over the last two decades all across the world. Dishes are intended to be shared and bread (from Tinder Hearth!) is meant to be broken in their cozy dining room and pub. The beverage program features a natural and biodynamic wine list, classic cocktails, and craft Maine beer. Located in the heart of the Blue Hill Peninsula, in between Camden and Acadia National Park, it is the perfect place to gather with friends and family.

Jordan Pond House, a restaurant and shop with a long tradition within Acadia National Park, sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful lawn along the Jordan Pond. Guests have been enjoying these amazing views and dining at this site since 1893 when Nellie McIntire, the first proprietor, started baking and serving her famous popovers out of the restaurant. Ever since then, we have been serving popovers and tea.Please note: Reservations may be made for inside dining only. Due to weather variability, we are unable to accommodate reservations for the lawn. Please inform the host at the time of your arrival if you would prefer outdoor seating, and we would be happy to accommodate your request, pending availability.

    The Valentine's Day dinner was epic... Got seated and the hostess brought us a bottle of water.... No glasses so we sat there and laughed about it and continued... Ordered drinks and waited... First course comes out still no glasses or drinks ... Finally a different waiter came over to bring the second course and we let him know about our drinks he very quickly returned with them .. coming into the 3rd course I got soup with was absolutely incredible accept for the fact I didn't get a spoon to eat it with so by the time I got one it was cold but very quickly was given a brand new hot dish... Then, we received the 6th course which was by total mistake and very delicious too by the way we had the most fun! Water with no glasses soup with no spoon and an extra course! Was epic the service was all in all very good, food was amazing.!!! Atmosphere was perfect !! Would give it 9.5 out of 10. I think there was some timing issues and new unfamiliar staff for the first time doing a 5 course meal setting it was very good and would definitely return again to see how they improved great job everyone who took part in the service!

    Siting at the cozy bar, I enjoyed a nice French red to accompany a wonderful beet salad, with a bright Meyer lemon note & then continued w/the house made (so flavorful!) venison sausage. I also indulged in their financier for dessert w/home-made ice cream. A lovely meal w/excellent & friendly service.

    The Reading Room is classic white linen high class dining at its best!! Menu, food, service & ambience all first rate! Our server was very professional (can’t recall her name) & very menu knowledgeable - only issue was that the noise level made it difficult to have a good conversation! We’ve been there many times over the years & it is always the highlight of our visits to Bar Harbor!!
