Carriages was inspired by founder Tony Killeen's passion for trains and the quirky setting of the restaurant, which overlooks the old Whitestone railway station.You can enjoy views of the rolling hills from the floor to ceiling windows in the top floor restaurant; dine inside or alfresco, on the spacious balcony, or walk the landscaped grounds surrounding the Four Seasons lake - which transforms into a maze of secret gardens, impressively lit up at night. Just great. Excellent service, food was just a celebration for the taste buds. We sat by the fire for a drink. Ate well and then relaxed back at the fire and the chap managing silently refilled the fire without any need for us to say a thing. Just incredible presentation and relaxing. Definitely be going again. Thank you

Lovely place with a nice ambience. Staff were friendly & Service was excellent. Food was delicious, every plate we had was tasty & wine was good. Cannot fault the place it was a wonderful night.

Just a nice relaxing atmosphere for lunch. Food wasn’t complicated but excellently presented and really tasty. Girls serving couldn’t be more helpful and polite. We love treating ourselves to a meal at Carriages or the Sidings, we will be back!
