Our family has always celebrated our birthdays, and major celebrations at The Capital Grille. It seems to me the quality and preparation of their steaks have changed. The tenders and ease of the cut is not there. We have been to both Capitol Grilles in Phoenix Metropolitan. I have been very disappointed. The cheese cake has always been a wonderful treat and it is still good, the crust is different, it’s hard, not flaky, anymore. The cheese cake is not rich and the texture is different. These are just my observations. The service and ambience is top notch every time. I guess that’s why we keep returning.

Excellent food and service. I enjoyed the hibachi 5 course meal with the grilled shrimp. Sitting in the lounge area was much quieter than the main area. Server was very attentive and pleasant. Even though it was Christmas Eve and it was very busy our food was served quickly and was very good.

We came for Christmas Eve dinner and had our favorite server, Stephen, who provided us with excellent service, making for a very special celebratory meal. We had a cheese platter with charcuterie and a lovely bottle of wine. For dinner we enjoyed a center cut filet with Oscar sauce, absolutely amazing. We also had the surf and turf and Stephen recommended the lobster deep fried, a first for us, and it was so good and the NY Strip was prepared perfectly and seasoned deliciously. Key Lime Pie to go, and if you have never come here and are thinking of one of the well known steak houses around N. Scottsdale, we highly encourage you to stop in. Also, the ambience here is cozy and the bar area is where we like to be seated. So glad we came here for a wonderful dinner.

Server was great and food was delicious$ it was busy but it was a wonderful and enjoyable experience. The Santa Claus walking around yo tables was a sweet part of our experience too! Well done!
