If you want a very good meal with many choices, Ruth’s Chris is a very nice place to go. It is more elegant than most places in Chattanooga. Jordan did an excellent job with the service.

The Cold Bar platter was fantastic! Our waiter seemed a bit standoffish at first, but he warmed up and was friendly and helpful. The building and décor was nostalgic and warm. The vibe was loud and busy...lots of people and lots of noise.

My husband had the pot roast with creamy potatoes with a red wine reduction, and I had the small plate scallops nestled on butternut squash. We all but licked our plates clean! Lou, the restaurant manager, runs a tight ship and Madison, our waitress, were absolutely wonderful. Public House is always busy without making you feel that their main objective is to turn the tables. It's a family type menu with food that even your grandma can't measure up to!! We're already making plans for our next culinary experience:-)

Your server was always around making sure we had everything we needed. Great value with the 3 course meal WITH A STEAK (NY Strip)! The steak was absolutely PERFECT. I didn't have to add salt or pepper & a perfect sear for great flavor. 10 out of 10!
