We are a relaxed, family-welcoming Italian restaurant on Sydney's beautiful coastal hub. We are Coogee's oldest Italian restaurant, owned and operated by the Lombardo family for more than 20 years. Modern, family Italian is one of the simplest, most enjoyable cuisines the world over, and La Spiaggia is loyal to this ethos. With many of Italy's most famous exports on our menu , we customise our good food with a woodfire oven, and by hand-making most of our pastas. We also source the best possible ingredient for all dishes, whether that be local Australian or imported Italian, from fresh seafood daily to the best Italian cheeses.     The food was excellent. We got 3 pastas and a pizza to share between 4 of us. You wouldn't be disappointed if you got this in Italy. It really felt like an authentic homecooked Italian meal. The garlic bread and caprese salad was also great to have as an entree. Fairly priced and really lovely staff which made the whole night a 10/10. Will be coming back and recommend to any who're looking for an excellent Italian meal.

    We had a table for 4 people on Saturday 18 January 2025. All dishes we ordered were outstanding. We wanted to share the four dishes we ordered. Most came with four items except the Paella which had only 3 Prawns, 3 chicken and 3 scallops. When we requested an extra one of each the waitress said it was not possible, (even if we were prepared to pay for an extra one of each). The service was good and the plates came well spaced out - not altogether. Music was a bit loud and the restaurant a bit noisy with three full tables. Notwithstanding the noise factor we would definitely be going back to eat there. Food is reasonably priced.
