This hidden Gem has gone through a major renovation, with an expansive bar, a beautifully-crafted wine room, and a gas-burning fire place. The electric menu was created by Chef Cliff Richardson; a culinary prodigy whose passion has taken him around the world. Experienced in Caribbean, French, Italian and American cuisine. Chef Richardson worked his way through the ranks at the Malliouhana Hotel under the leadership of Michelin Star Chef Michelle Rostang in Paris. The Squire is best known for their Surf & Turf Board- 32oz (CAB) Porterhouse Steak, 2 (6oz) Cold Water Lobster Tails, Pan Seared Dry Diver Scallops & Jumbo Shrimp accompanied with your choice of sides. The Squire is a MUST VISIT- with amazing food, beautiful ambiance and great service. - Happy Hour is Offered Wednesday-Sunday from 4-7pm.-

    We had a delicious early Christmas Eve dinner. I had a whole baked artichoke heart which is my favorite. Main dish poached lobster, so succulent. I also enjoyed a mistletoe cocktail. My husband had the oysters and braised lamb shank. Everything was perfect. This is one of our favorite restaurants.

    Semolina is always our first choice when we come back to NJ. As usual is was phenomenal!!! The coffee crusted venison carpaccio was tender and delicious. I had the squash angolotti that were plump and the creamy sauce has just enough truffle and pepper notes. My husband had the spicy octopus ragú and it was light and flavorful. Finished the night with a hefty pot de crème that was perfection. Trish was out server and she was attentive, witty and efficient as the dining room was filling up punctuated by Bryson and Jillian who made sure we had everything we needed. once again walked away full and happy!

    We celebrated our anniversary at The Squire, and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was cozy and festive, with beautiful Christmas decorations that added a magical touch to the evening. We enjoyed the appetizers and cocktails; as a main course, the filet mignon and prime rib, both were superb. The filet mignon was tender and full of flavor, while the prime rib was perfectly seasoned and juicy. And to close the dessert with the anniversary touch was incredible. The service was outstanding. Our waiter Cory was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our evening special. Overall, The Branches provided a memorable dining experience that made our anniversary celebration truly special. Highly recommended for any special occasion, especially during the holiday season.
