The food never disappoints. The truffle fries are extra truffly, and the entrees are always delicious. My only suggestion is to pass on the Bittersweet Memories drink, it might be better with a different liquor but how it is now it is not good.

Came highly recommended and it stood up to its reputation.

This was our first time attending the restaurant and our experience was absolutely wonderful. Austin was our server and he was fantastic anticipating every need we could have had and fulfilling it. We got the sticky wings, Caesar salad, and the beef wellington. The wings were cooked to perfection, the salad was delicious and big enough to share, and the wellington was absolute heaven!! Would highly recommend and would definitely go back!!

Always an excellent visit at GVG. Zac was very attentive server. Good arrived quickly and all entrees were enjoyed by the four in our group.

Although the service at the 21C Hotel was spotty, our worries about the food at the Counting House were unfounded. While certainly not the best meals we've ever had, they were above expectations and a good value. I'd say, if you are in the area for a show at DPAC or Carolina Theater, give them a shot. While the menu reads a little fuzzy , the explanations and descriptions offered by the waiter clarified things quickly. Some items really don't have a proper description. IMHO, they should redo their menus to better reflect their offerings. We had breakfast there the next morning and that was pretty good too !
